The majority of the prints are printed on recycled paper. I love the matte texture of the paper and it’s ability to keep the vibrancy of the colours but I also love that it’s sustainable. The prints come packed in a protective cello sleeve complete with back board to keep them flat. This board is also made of recycled materials. Not only are you getting a gorgeous piece of art, you are also doing your small bit for the earth.
Every piece of my work has been born from a childhood memory, bit of craic or overheard conversation. People, specifically Irish people are at the core of it and how they connect and communicate with one another. The prints always start a conversation. People chatting, sharing stories or having a laugh when they see them. “My Granny used to say that” “Do you remember that time…”
The prints are layered with hand drawn pattern, illustration and lettering. All prints are imagined, designed and printed in Ireland ensuring you are supporting Irish.
